Areas of Expertise
My practice is non-judgemental or advisory. This is your journey, your experiences, your feelings and your life. Through building a relationship of trust I believe that everyone has the capacity to recognise and unlock hidden potential and grow.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am bound by their strict Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I have regular clinical supervision and my professional development and training is continuous. I have Professional Indemnity Insurance, Public Liability Insurance and am fully DBS checked.
I work from my therapy room at Agora Heart, based on the edge of the New Forest in Totton with easy access from J2 or J3 off the M27 or I am happy to do local home visits within a 10-mile radius from Marchwood. Alternatively, I can offer telephone or online counselling via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Beginning counselling can feel very daunting. Therefore, I am happy for you to make an initial enquiry either by telephone or email. I always aim to respond to any emails or voicemails within 24 hours. I am happy to answer any questions and hopefully make you feel more comfortable with taking the first steps.
Coaching and Workshops
Using a solution-focused approach, drawing from my counselling experience, practical business knowledge and delivery of tailor-made personal development training, I am able to provide coaching to clients on a personal, one to one basis, allowing a client to explore their blocks and achieve their personal or professional goals.
As a CAVA Level 3 Vocational Assessor and qualified trainer, I am able to provide high quality and relevant education and training. Group coaching is offered for businesses and organisations and I have developed Emotional Health and Wellbeing Workshops for employees which can be tailor-made to cover specific areas. Sessions can be delivered in-house or from a professional and comfortable event space located on the edge of the New Forest and with easy access from the M27. Check out the location and facilities at Agora Heart.
These workshops can offer a space and time for employees to openly express how they are feeling, share experiences and learn some coping skills, giving them the ability to bounce back from mental and emotional stressors.

Working through and coping with the last couple of years has been a tough time and has had an impact on many people’s lives. As we start to return to ‘normal’ it’s time to reassess and strengthen workplace culture. Recognising and incorporating a culture of mental wellness is an important factor in creating a healthy and safe environment for all employees, resulting in improved sickness absence a more focused work output.
