Mind Sort Counselling

Having been trained and qualified as a Person-Centred Counsellor, I am passionate about providing a high-quality counselling service.  I have worked extensively in the area of addiction, having worked for a number of years within an NHS recovery service.  I also have experience of working with young people from the age of 11 - 25 and I have experience of working with clients with a wide range of issues such as;

  • OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

  • EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder)

  • Body dysmorphia

  • Self-harm

  • Grief

  • Relationship issues

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Eating disorders

  • Domestic abuse

  • Historical child abuse

I aim to provide a safe environment where you, the client, can feel able to share and explore any issues that are concerning you.  As I work with a Person-Centred approach it is my job to walk beside you and listen, enabling you to feel truly heard and understood, allowing the time and space for exploration of the issues that are concerning you.  Through gaining more understanding of these issues and the resulting behaviours, counselling can enable change and reduce internal conflict.

The time is yours and you set the pace.  There is no pressure to disclose or explore anything that you are not comfortable with.

I do local home visits or work from my therapy room, located on the edge of the New Forest in Totton and with easy access from J2 and J3 off the M27.
